Freedom of Religion in Canada

We here in Canada praise and thank God for our freedom (as well we should!), especially freedom of religion- we can worship without restraint… but can we?  Peter Stockland at Cardus (a Hamilton based think tank reflecting on social, political and religious concerns) recently posted this on Cardus’ blog, a story regarding the restrictions on where religious services can be done in Quebec.  Apparently Paula Celani of Montreal was fined for sharing mass in a rented room, because the property was not zoned for religious service.  Apparently worship in Quebec is for the Sanctuaries only.
